Hi, I’m Derek — also known as Sunny D.
I’m the creator of Tech Smart Magic and the human behind this site.
Over the years, I’ve traveled through a wide range of fields — from math, statistics, and software development to teaching, tutoring, and working in the community. These experiences shaped me… and inspired me to build something of my own.
Now, based in Ashland, Oregon, I’m creating a business that blends technology, creativity, and heart. I love helping people navigate the digital world — whether that’s through design, AI tools, online guides, or just simple encouragement and conversation.
Tech Smart Magic is part business, part experiment, and part invitation. I believe in using tools that save time, unlock creative potential, and make life more vibrant.
